Proud Mama

Not many almost-four-year-old girls beg to hold spiders. Or ants. Or snails. Or beetle larvae. But mine does! Malia is a little entomologist in the making and I couldn't be more proud! While we were out in the yard today, Malia found a snail. It poked its head out from its shell and, in a very serious tone, Malia asked: "can you talk?". I would have loved to hear that conversation.
