Christmas 2010

This was taken a few weeks ago on a non-rainy day. We had to go to the park and run around!

I love how putting on parents' shoes is something you don't have to teach little kids...but they all do it! It's even cuter when Malia tries to walk around in Kurt's shoes!

Peacock Lane- a great Christmas tradition!

Just chillin' in the car.

Christmas morning.

Malia's thinking: "I know there's something good in there!"

We hope you had Merry Christmas! Happy New Year!

Some cows say "boo!"

Here are some recent pictures of Malia! We've tried to squeeze every last bit out of fall.
Here she is at a pumpkin patch/petting zoo.

At the park with aunt Laurel Lee! Two of her favorite things!

Here she is sporting her new raincoat. Now we just need to find some rain boots and she'll be set for winter in Portland!

Malia in her cow costume. She fell asleep on the way home from our ward's trunk-or-treat, so she got to wear the suit all night! I need to get some better pictures of her in it. Until very recently, Malia said that cows say "boo!". I thought that was pretty fitting considering her Halloween costume. Sadly, now she says "moo!".

Feeding the ducks at the park near our house. She loved it!

Mega Picture Post

I'm apparently not very good at this blog thing.
But, I will try to make it up to you with some great recent (relatively) pictures!

Malia is such a digger. Sometimes bark/rocks/sand are more exciting than any playground equipment/dolls/toys around!
Here we are at the Redwoods! We were fortunate enough to tag along for one of Kurt's business trips to Northern Cali. That place is amazing!

Malia also loves the beach. The cold, wet sand was not at all a deterrent on this day.

Here she is at Grandma and Grandpa Plaster's. It was that week that she officially took off walking. Look out!

Playing in a tent where cousin McKenna had created a 'play room' for her.

The beautiful Canadian rockies! This was on our way out of town after a long-overdue visit home. Too bad I didn't get many other pics...
On a walk with Grandma Plaster at the Turnbull Wildlife Refuge.

Here are some crazy looking primates at the zoo. They crack me up! Malia was mostly interested in the other kids, and in running around.

I was amused that he even attempted doing her hair!

Free-falling!

Well, there you have it. I will try to catch up on the last two weeks very soon. I hope you're all enjoying this great time of year!

The people who lived here must have really loved blackberries!

I love this house. It cracks me up every time we drive by. When they say blackberries grow like crazy here...they mean it!!!

North Idaho Advenure

Random August Photos

Here are a few photos from the last month. Enjoy!
Malia loved being in the river at Corey and Kristi's cabin!

She had her fill of blackberries!

Here she is with cousin Violet!

Anyone remember the story "The Paper Bag Princess"? I couldn't help myself...

I must say Malia is much cuter than the character in that book!

Blueberry Monster

We've been enjoying berry season. Malia has especially loved picking blueberries in our backyard. I love how wide she opens her mouth for such a tiny object!

I don't think Kurt made us blurry on purpose, but I think this picture turned out cool.

We can no longer skip any days having a bath. Malia loves to get dinner everywhere!

More fun on the swing...
