July!

We're a little sad that July is over, but we had fun while it lasted!

The Passion Flower. Quite possibly my favorite. I would grow one if I thought I could keep it alive. So cool!
Here is Malia in Osoyoos, BC. We visited with my good friend Dana and some of her family for a few days at her grandma's cottage on the lake. It was a perfect little get away. Malia loved the water and all the fruit!
We had all the cherries and mulberries we could handle!
Malia and the gang. (Paige's kids: Brooklyn & Jude, and Dana's Emma).
So this next one is way out of order, but it is awesome so I had to include it. Life doesn't get much better for Malia. "Wee" and Robert are very special to her.
Camping with friends.
Malia loved this little scooter. She didn't really like riding it, but she did like to awkwardly pull it so that it would hit her feet. Even though that part frustrated her, she insisted that that is what she wanted to do.
This was only about half of the kids present! We had a big group and it was lots of fun.

Damon and cousin Will. We loved having Penny and Will visit for a few days. Unfortunately, I didn't get many pictures of her visit, but LL's blog has some gems.

Malia put on the necklaces herself.

Fun at the fountains.
Can a face get any sweeter? I think not.

I'm glad she's crazy...

cause she'd have to be, to put up with this:
and this:

Are you ready for a party?

Big girl in a little tub!
Love bug!

He must be dreaming of a wild ride...good thing he's strapped in and hanging on tight!
Look at that hand go!
"Nummies" she says! Devouring raspberries in the backyard...
Malia asks to hold Damon on a regular basis. She loves him!
Playing at the water fountains!

Clapping for the ducks :)

My one fear was that she wouldn't recognize that her cake was an owl. LL will tell you Malia definitely knew what it was! I think she was pretty excited :) It was inspired by her favorite youtube video "Twinkle twinkle little star", about an owl dancing with a star in the sky. It's pretty cute! I'm excited about making all sorts of crazy cakes for my kids on their birthdays.
Malia checking out her animal bag from grandma P. Today was the first sacrament meeting she has sat through in I don't know how long! Thank you! And thanks grandma & grandpa B for the tub soup! She 'ate' some last night!
Happy girl! She had two of her favorite people to celebrate with us: LL & Robert. Robert is practically a celebrity in our house and there's nobody else she'd rather party with!
Without getting too cheesy, I must say we sure love this girl. I can't believe she's two! She is so fun-loving and quite the chatter-box. Someone in our ward who helped out in nursery last week said she is such a pleasant girl who, when she isn't stuffing her face, is busy singing to herself. I'm glad those cheeks won't be deflating anytime soon! She is such a sweet big sister- always talking to and about Damon. And she is most definitely a girly-girl. She loves flowers, hearts, and SHOES! She sleeps with some sort of footwear (over top of her footed pajamas) on a regular basis.
I could go on and on...but I think the pictures say quite a bit about her personality. We love our sweet Malia girl!!!
